iPad Camera by using an App?

The iPad has a SD-Card reader add-on called Camera Connector which supports a number of devices and allows you to easily transfer pictures from your high quality Digital camera’s to make up for the fact that it doesn’t have an inbuilt camera.

Now for those of you who already have a iPhone and don’t necessarily wish to connect a high quality camera to the iPad and play around with a $1 app, here’s your chance.
In the video below Chris Perillo shows us how he uses the App called Camera A and Camera B written by Vanishlab which allows you to connect your iPhone via bluetooth and save the picture either to your iPhone or to your iPad.

The App connects over bluetooth and is still very much in development so will hoefully improve the frame rate with updates.

if you are having any problems with the App simply follow this procedure:

Turn off WiFi., when enabling Bluetooth

The WiFi and Bluetooth radios operate on the same frequency band and share an antenna. Turning off WiFi ensures that the maximum bandwidth is available to the Bluetooth connection.

Alternatively you can turn off Bluetooth and turn on Wifi.
